i don’t know all the context of what’s happening but this is bizarre (via ellenbee)

To say we were all given pink slips is a little dramatic I think, but we were told in no uncertain terms that “the workforce will be smaller.” In fact I think there was a plain black-and-white powerpoint slide that said just those words verbatim, which I remember thinking looked kinda nihilistic.
